What better excuse to buy new boots than the change of season. With Winter well and truly upon us, it’s time to decide on your new favourite boots for the season.

For me, my list of needs was pretty simple: I wanted something versatile that could be worn casual or dressed up; black is always my go to colour and something with a low, wearable heel.

I found the ‘Phoenix’ boot from Duo Boots. These western inspired boots are not only stylish but super comfortable. Made of matte nubuck, they will literally go with anything.

** Duo Boots was created in 1974 by fashion retailers Ted and Muffy Maltby. Their collections of Italian-made shoes soon gained a reputation for quality and choice and in 2003 they introduced their first range of tailored boots. In 2015, the company re-branded to Ted&Muffy, named after its founders, however customer feedback was clear that the brand’s original name was greatly missed and therefore Duo Boots was re-established in 2017. They are in the process of changing all branding, including the website, back to Duo Boots and this will happen in the next few months if you go looking for them.
