Sometimes I like to run around the beach in Winter in just my underwear and a jumper…  Ok, that’s a blatant lie- I HATE the cold!!  At the moment I am really missing the beautiful climate of my Sunshine Coast home.  The temperature drop of a Sydney Winter has been pretty harsh on this QLD girl!  Granted, I could wear more clothes!  Ha, ha.

Anyway, this is one of my favourite shoots to date and I am literally just wearing a Banana Republic jumper.  No jewellery.  Definitely no hair styling and no fake tan.  Styling (to me) does not have to be over complicated (and tanned & hair-sprayed.)  Yes, I am a fan of finding loud statement pieces and wearing them proudly but with so many trends emerging lately, styling can get a little confused with pattern clashing, colour blocking, sports luxe, tartan, metallic, camouflage, ice-cream pastels, brights…. and the list goes on!   I feel like sometimes everything needs to be pulled back and just be basically simple.

I’ve also included a couple of BTS shots from our shoot at Little Bay.  The stalker taking these snaps was my lovely boyfriend, Kai.  He’s usually behind the lens of my blogposts so this was a nice change for him.
